![]() I can not emphasize enough how different that experience was to the other places I had been to. He was not pushing a sale onto me, we were working it out together. I don't know whether it was because I showed up with a notebook, or because he just read me correctly or what, but he let the car do all of the talking, he answered every question I could possibly ask, and was up front about the entire process when I inquired about a trade in.Īt no point in the entire process did I ever feel any pressure, any manipulation, or any rapid fire double speak questions trying to get a feel for my budget. Brian was my sales guy, and let me tell you, this guy knows how to make the entire process completely stress free. I showed up 15 minutes later and they had already pulled the car out front, ready to go for review and a test drive. I called them around 9:45am and told them I was coming to check out the car. I stumbled on the M&S website at 7am, found a really nice Honda at a really nice price. I had almost an entire small notebook worth of notes on every car I had seen so far, but I was getting really tired of the whole process and I was ready to just call the whole vehicle search off. I had already been to 4 other local dealerships, Mostly the big brands. This post might get a bit long, so be warned about that. M&S Auto is a fantastic place to pick up a used vehicle. The tail light configuration was the closer for me. AMAZING! No mechanical problems, runs like a champ. I commute 50 miles back and forth from work, mostly on the freeway and get about 40-41 MPG at 70-75MPH Sometimes I’ll put non-ethanol 88 gas in and it will get 42-44. The rear seats are deep, but the headroom is an issue for anyone over 6’. I’m 6’1” and have plenty of room, even with someone in back. The interior is decent sized and basically designed. Steering is tight like a sport coupe should be. Pretty nimble in traffic on both the city and freeways and has ample acceleration especially at highway. ![]() It took a month or so get used to the CVT transmission, but eventually found the sweet spots and really never need to use sport mode because it’s unnecessary. I just wanted the base model with the 2.0 because it’s one of Honda’s best engines and I certainly don’t need all the bells and whistles. I picked this Civic coupe LX up last March with 30k miles and have absolutely loved it. ![]()
